Homeschooling Wish List
Here is a list of things that we need or would like to have in our Homeschool.
Books:
Ancient Egyptians and Their Neighbors: An Activity Guide by Marian Broida- We got this book from the library because it was recommended in The Story of the World Vol. 1 Activity Guide. I really liked the projects and information on the Mesopotamians. It’s an excellent resource for information on a rarely discussed, ancient civilization.
Capturing the Stars: Astrophotography by the Masters by Robert Gendler- This book looks beautiful and is not too expensive. It will be a nice addition to our library when Kamikaze and I start Astronomy.
Work Books:
Letters and Numbers for Me: We’ll be finishing up our handwriting workbook in mid August. This one is next in the series.
Learning Tools:
Flip-Flash Spanish Flash Cards Level I- Kamikaze is really itching to learn Spanish. Although I’m pretty fluent, I feel like I need some kind of structure in order to remember to teach it. I figure the flash cards are a good start for learning useful vocabulary (instead of just me and my Spanish curse words- lol) and from there I can decide how formal I want to get.
