Mouse Work
I’m starting to introduce Tremendo to using the computer. He’s just now at the place where he can regulate himself long enough to follow my instructions when it comes to clicking on the mouse where I direct and typing the keys when asked. Today a quick search for “online matching games” produced this Hatch and Match Game. What I liked about this one is that not only is there a visual cue to match, but each dinosaur has a different roar so one could use sound to arrive at the matches if one wants to.
At first I concentrated on just getting him to click to the egg I pointed to and showing excitement at getting matches. After he did one or two matches on his own, I stopped the coaching and let him experiment. He didn’t do too many matches but the goal was about mouse control so I’m excited about his accomplishment and attention span. We played about 20 minutes.
